The cut metalwork is the point: light leaves the glass and prints the scroll pattern onto the wall behind, which a plain lantern never does. A coffee gold finish reads warm against stone and brick where a cold silver would fight it. The tapered base and curved top arm give it a proper vintage silhouette even when it is switched off during the day. Aluminum alloy keeps the weight sensible on a lantern this size while standing up to weather.

Materials

- Slight variation in color and finish between units is normal on a cast and painted metal fixture.
Care
- Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth and reach into the scrollwork with a soft brush.
- Dry the metal fully after cleaning and after rain so water does not sit in the detailing.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners on the glass panels.
- Switch the power off at the wall and let the fixture cool before you clean it.

About this piece
How does it mount?
The backplate screws to the wall over an outdoor junction box and the lantern hardwires behind it. Because the larger sizes are heavy, fix into masonry or a solid batten. Use a qualified electrician.
Which size should I order?
The small suits a side door or a narrow porch pier. The medium is the usual choice beside a front door. The large is for a double height entry or a wide villa wall where smaller lanterns look lost.
Is a bulb included?
The LED light source is fitted and gives a fixed 3000K warm white, which is the tone that suits stone, brick and timber exteriors.

Do I need an electrician?
Hardwired fixtures such as chandeliers, pendants, flush mounts and wall sconces connect to your home wiring, so we recommend a licensed electrician for those. Plug in, battery, solar and rechargeable lights need no wiring.
