What natural variation looks like

• Terracotta and clay: Unglazed clay is porous. It breathes, which plant roots like, and it can develop a pale mineral bloom over time.

Care

Dust ceramic and porcelain with a soft cloth and wash by hand with mild soap when needed. For stone, skip acidic cleaners such as vinegar or lemon, which can etch travertine and marble; a damp cloth and a drop of mild soap are enough. Set a saucer or tray under planters to protect furniture from water. Backflow incense burners collect residue, so rinse them with warm water every so often and let them dry fully.
