A marble base does the job that matters on a slim lamp, which is holding it down: at 15 lb this does not shift when a cable is caught by a foot. The colour temperature switches between warm, neutral and cool at the lamp, so the same fitting suits reading at night and working during the day. The walnut stem warms what would otherwise be a cold metal line. It stands just over four feet, so the light falls onto a chair rather than past it.

Wipe the stem with a soft, dry cloth. Clean the marble base with a barely damp cloth and dry it straight away, since marble stains. Do not use abrasive or acidic cleaners on the stone.
What ships depends on the set you select, a single lamp or a set of two, four or six. The LED is built in and switches between warm white, neutral and cool light at the lamp. Note that this changes the colour of the light rather than its brightness. It plugs into an ordinary outlet, so no wiring work is needed. The marble base is heavy, so lift the lamp by the stem and the base together rather than by the stem alone. Decorative accessories and items shown in product photos are not included with purchase.
