Twelve tinplate jars are included in the color and capacity you select. The 1 ounce jar is 1.3 inches across and 1.3 inches tall, and the larger capacities in this listing are taller. Each jar has a spout on the rim. These are empty containers, so wax, wicks and fragrance are not included.
The spout is what makes them worth choosing for candle making, since it gives a clean pour when you decant melted wax and lets you tip out the last of a finished candle. Set the wick in the base and hold it upright while the wax sets, because a wick that leans burns down one side. Tinplate takes heat well but gets hot with a candle burning in it, so use a coaster or a heatproof surface. Wash and reuse them once a candle is finished. Wax, wicks, fragrance and items shown in product photos are not included with purchase.
