One picture light is included in the finish you select, brushed gold or matte black, with the remote control, the mounting plate, screws and a charging cable. It is 16 inches long and projects 5.4 inches from the wall, in a metal housing and bracket with a 4400mAh rechargeable battery inside. Because it runs on the battery there is no cable down the wall and no outlet needed at the spot, which is what makes it usable above a picture on a bare wall. The remote sets the brightness and the light color from where you are standing. Mount the plate centered above the frame, hang the light on it, then swing the bracket so the light washes down across the picture rather than out into the room. Charge it fully before the first use.
