This set of 8 solar pathway lights is sized for lining a longer walkway, garden bed border, or driveway edge where a single pair would leave large dark gaps between fixtures. Each light charges independently during the day and switches on at dusk, so there is no wiring to run between them. The waterproof build tolerates rain, sprinklers, and being staked directly into damp soil. Buying them as a set of 8 keeps the spacing and light output consistent along the whole run instead of mixing fixtures from different batches. Eight lights are included, each with a post section and a ground stake, in the light color selected above. Assembled, each stands 15 inches tall: a 3.35 by 3.54 inch lantern head, a 7.8 inch post and a 4.92 inch stake. A solar panel and rechargeable battery are built into each unit, so there is no wiring and no batteries to buy.
Push the sections together by hand, then press each stake into soft ground; water the spot first if the soil is hard rather than forcing the stake, which is how they break. Site them where they get several hours of direct sun. Charge them in full sun for a day before the first night, then they switch on at dusk and off at dawn on their own. Space them evenly along a path or a bed edge, roughly six to eight feet apart, since each one marks the way rather than lighting an area. Wipe the panels clean every few months, as dust costs more charge than cloud does. Decorative accessories and items shown in product photos are not included with purchase.
