It assembles by hand in a few minutes without tools. Slide the frame out to the width you need before loading it, and set it to the space rather than to the shoe count, since the point of an adjustable rack is filling an awkward gap that a fixed one leaves. It holds roughly six pairs across the two tiers depending on shoe size. Set it inside a closet, under a bench or against an entryway wall.
