Why This Is Special
This wall lamp uses an exposed swing arm and a vintage industrial finish, built specifically as a bedside reading light rather than a general room light. The arm swings and extends, so it can be pulled close over a book and pushed back out of the way once the light is off. Mounting it to the wall instead of the nightstand frees up the surface for a phone, a glass of water, or a stack of books. The industrial finish holds up well against the scuffs and fingerprints that show on smoother, painted fixtures. For a bedroom that still relies on a table lamp with a cord running across the nightstand, this replaces it with something that stays fixed to the wall.

Includes the lamp with its 5.3 inch wall plate and mounting screws, in the style selected above. The two arm sections are 11.8 inches each, giving a reach of up to 23.6 inches from the wall, with a shade 4.3 inches across and 3 inches deep. A bulb option is offered above: pick the LED bulb version to have one supplied, or the no bulb version if you are fitting your own.
It fixes to the wall with the supplied plate and screws; turn the power off at the breaker before connecting it, and if there is no wiring at that point, an electrician will need to run it. Both joints pivot, so the head folds back against the wall when it is not in use and swings out over a bed, a chair or a desk to read by. Leave clearance for the full 23 inch reach when you choose the mounting point, especially near a headboard or a door swing. Wipe it with a soft dry cloth once the bulb is cool.
