Why This Is Special
This underground light is rated IP67 and available in outputs from 1W to 18W, so the brightness can be matched to a garden path, driveway edge, or larger outdoor area depending on which wattage is chosen. Because it is designed to be buried flush with the ground, it lights a surface from below without a visible fixture sticking up to trip over or mow around. The waterproof rating means it can sit in wet soil or under standing rainwater without failing. It works well marking the edge of a walkway, garden bed, or patio border at night.
Made from durable metal and quality acrylic. Small variations in tone are normal from piece to piece.
Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth. Rated for outdoor use; wipe off dust and debris now and then to keep the light output strong.
Includes one buried light in the wattage, color and voltage selected above. Face diameters run from 1.65 inches on the 1W up to 5.9 inches on the 18W, with cutout sizes given per option. The LED light source is built in, so no bulb is needed or included.
Check the voltage option before ordering: the DC12V versions need a separate low voltage transformer, which is not included, while the AC versions run on household voltage from 85V to 265V. Dig out the recess, run the cable, seat the housing so the face sits flush with the ground and backfill around it. It is sealed against water and rated to be walked on, which is why it goes into a driveway, a path, a deck or a planting bed rather than sitting on the surface. Aim it at a wall, a tree trunk or a step face rather than straight up where it will glare. Wiring at household voltage outdoors should be done by an electrician. Transformers are not included.
