At 11 inches it sits on a nightstand, a shelf or a console without blocking the view across a room. Put it on a stable surface, since a glass body this size is easy to knock over and hard to repair. Use the warm setting in a bedroom in the evening and a cooler setting where you need to see clearly. Glass shows fingerprints, so wipe it with a soft dry cloth rather than a paper towel, which leaves fine scratches over time.
