Why This Is Special
The lamp head on this fixture rotates independently of the base, so it can be aimed directly at a book or pillow without needing to reposition the whole mount. Being wall mounted rather than a table lamp, it frees up nightstand space on either side of a bed. Its adjustable design lets two people sharing a bed each set their own reading angle from fixtures on opposite walls. The modern LED source stays cool enough to be positioned close to a headboard without concern. It is built specifically for reading, so the beam is narrower and more directed than a general room light.

Includes the lamp with its wall plate and mounting screws, in the finish selected above. The round wall plate is 3.9 inches across and 1.2 inches deep, and the reading arm extends 4.3 inches. The 3W LED light source is built in and fixed at warm white, so no bulb is needed or included.
This is a hardwired fixture, so it connects to the wiring in your wall rather than plugging in. Turn the power off at the breaker, fix the plate to the wall, connect the wires and seat the body onto the plate. The head rotates and tilts, so the beam can be aimed at a book without spilling light across the rest of the bed. At 3W it is a focused reading light rather than a room light, which is the reason to mount it at shoulder height beside a headboard or above a bunk. Wipe it with a soft dry cloth once it is cool.
