Why This Is Special
The useful thing here is the finish range. A flush ceiling light is going to be visible from every seat in a small room, so being able to match it to the woodwork or the walls instead of defaulting to white makes a real difference. It mounts tight to the ceiling, which is what you want in a hallway or a room with a low ceiling where a pendant would be in the way.

One flush mount fixture is included with its mounting plate, in the option you select, with black and white bodies each offered in warm light, cold light and a color changing version, so read the option carefully because the finish and the light color are set together. It measures 13 inches wide, 11 inches deep and 3.1 inches tall, in painted metal with an acrylic diffuser, so slight color variation between batches is normal. The light source is integrated, so there is no bulb to buy or replace. It wires into a ceiling point rather than plugging in, so turn the power off at the breaker before starting and have an electrician run a supply to the spot if there is nothing there already. It sits close to the ceiling and stays out of the way, which is what suits it to a hallway, a bedroom or a small study.
