Why This Is Special
The up and down light pattern on this sconce throws beams both above and below the fixture, which highlights wall texture rather than just lighting the ground in front of it. Its IP65 rating means it is sealed against dust and rated for direct water exposure, not just occasional splashes. The motion sensor keeps it off until someone approaches, which extends bulb life and reduces the wired electrical draw. This up and down beam style is more commonly used for architectural accent lighting on brick or stone walls than a plain floodlight would be. It suits an entryway, garage exterior, or patio wall where texture and shadow matter as much as raw light output.

Includes the light with its mounting plate and screws, in the color, head count and sensor option selected above. The single head version is a 3.9 inch cube at 12W; the two head version is 7.9 inches wide at 24W. The LED light source is built in, so no bulb is needed or included. Choose warm white 3000K, natural white 4000K or cool white 6000K, and choose whether you want the motion sensor version before ordering, since it cannot be added later.
This is a hardwired fixture, so it connects to the wiring in your wall rather than plugging in. Turn the power off at the breaker, fix the plate to the wall, connect the wires and seat the body onto the plate. The heads throw light straight up and down the wall, so mount it at head height beside a door or along a wall you want grazed rather than expecting it to light a whole yard. The sensor version stays dark and lights on approach, which suits a side door or a garage; the plain version is better where you want the light on all evening. It is sealed against rain.
