The frame pushes together by hand and the shelves slot in, so it builds without tools. Measure your wall space first, since the taller versions run over four feet. It is narrow front to back so it sits flush against a hallway or entryway wall without blocking the walkway. The cover keeps dust off while the slatted shelves still let air move around damp shoes, which is the balance a fully closed cabinet does not give. Put the heaviest shoes on the lower tiers to keep it stable and stand it against a wall. Wipe it with a damp cloth.
