Why This Is Special
Hardwiring a sconce usually means an electrician, patched drywall, and a switch you never wanted on that wall. This lamp skips all of it because the E27 bulb holds the battery, charges over USB, and pops out for charging while the fixture stays on the wall. A full charge runs about 25 hours at full brightness and up to 72 hours dimmed low, which covers weeks of bedside reading. The remote handles brightness, three white tones, and 12 color modes, so the same lamp works as a focused reading light at night and a soft accent light when friends are over.
The option you select sets the finish and how many lamps you receive, one or two in black or two in gold. Each lamp stands 12.29 inches tall overall, with a shade 5.91 inches across and 3.94 inches tall. It is wireless, so it runs from its own power with nothing to wire in and no cord to run, and it gives ten light colors.
Because there is nothing to connect it can go on any wall, including a rented room or a spot with no supply behind it, and it comes down again without leaving wiring in the plaster. Mount it at eye height or a little above so the shade throws light up the wall and down it. Set the color once it is on the wall, since the same color reads differently against a white wall and a dark one. Wipe it with a dry cloth.
