Why This Is Special
A double height entry is the hardest space in a house to light, because anything sized for a normal room vanishes in it. This is built tall rather than wide, 47.2 or 59.1 inches of drop, so it fills the vertical space a foyer actually has instead of floating near the top of it. The crystal is strung in cascading strands rather than fixed drops, so it moves slightly and catches light at every level as somebody walks up the stairs. Two designs are offered on the same gold frame, shown side by side in the photos.

Height is the fixture body. The suspension adds to it, so the finished drop is set at installation and needs to be planned against the ceiling height.
Made from a gold finished metal frame strung with cut crystal beads and strands. Because the crystal is cut and strung by hand, the fall of the strands and the clarity of individual beads vary slightly from piece to piece.
Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth. Dust the strands by supporting them from below rather than pulling down, since the strands are threaded and will stretch. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners on the crystal or the gold finish. Switch the power off at the breaker before cleaning, and let bulbs cool before touching them. Plan how it will be reached before it goes up, because cleaning it later needs the same access as fitting it.
One chandelier is included in the design and size you select, along with the ceiling plate, the suspension and the mounting hardware. Bulbs are not included. Use warm white bulbs, since cool white flattens the gold finish and takes the warmth out of the crystal. Measure the floor to ceiling height of the space and subtract the drop listed under Dimensions plus the suspension before ordering, because this is a tall fixture and there is no way to shorten the body. It is hardwired to a ceiling point rather than plugged in, so turn the power off at the breaker before starting. Have an electrician install this one: it is heavy, it hangs in a stairwell or a foyer, and the ceiling fixing has to be rated for the load with proper access equipment rather than a ladder on the stairs.
