Why This Is Special
This fixture borrows its silhouette from the mid century Serge Mouille spider lamps, with thin curved arms branching off a single wall mount. A built in switch on the fixture means the light can be turned on without reaching for a separate wall switch or plug timer. The spindly arm design casts a distinct shadow pattern that a flat panel light cannot produce. It reads as a design object first and a light source second, which makes it a fit for a living room wall that needs a focal point rather than just illumination. The LED bulb keeps running costs low despite the dramatic shape.

Includes the lamp with its mounting plate and screws, in the configuration selected above. The number in each option is the arm reach: one head at 25.6, 27.6, 37.4, 46.5 or 53.5 inches, or two heads at 39.4, 47.2, 59.1 or 70.9 inches. One option adds a switch and a plug in cord. Check the reach against the space before ordering, since these arms are long.
Except for the plug in option, this is a hardwired fixture, so it connects to the wiring in your wall. Turn the power off at the breaker, fix the plate to the wall, connect the wires and seat the body onto the plate. Each cone head pivots, so the light can be aimed at a reading chair, a picture or the ceiling once the lamp is up. The long reach is the point: mounted on a side wall it lights a bed, a sofa or a dining table without a ceiling fitting. Wipe it with a soft dry cloth once it is cool. Bulbs, decorative accessories and items shown in product photos are not included with purchase.
