Choosing between the hardwired and the solar version is the real decision here. Solar goes in anywhere with a spade and no cable run, which is what makes it usable along a boundary or at the far end of a garden, while the hardwired version keeps working through a dull week. Stainless steel handles damp better than painted steel, so it holds up where sprinklers hit it. The white acrylic diffuser spreads the light rather than letting a bright diode show, and sets of up to ten line a whole drive in one order.
Available in two heights, 19.7 inches and 23.6 inches. The 19.7 inch version measures 9.84 inches wide and deep and weighs 8.82 lb. The 23.6 inch version measures 11.81 inches wide and deep and weighs 13.23 lb.
Made from black stainless steel with a white acrylic diffuser. Slight variation in finish between pieces is normal.
Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth and dry it afterwards. On the solar version keep the top panel free of leaves and dust, because a dirty panel is the usual reason a solar light stops holding charge. Do not use abrasive cleaners on the diffuser.
What ships depends on the set you select, a single light or a set of two, four, six, eight or ten, in the height and power supply you choose. Read the power supply option carefully: the solar version has its own panel and rechargeable battery, needs a spot that gets several hours of direct sun, and switches on by itself at dusk, while the hardwired version connects to mains power and should be fitted by an electrician with the power off at the breaker. The LED is built in on both, so no bulb is bought or replaced. It is sealed to IP65 against dust and rain. Decorative accessories and items shown in product photos are not included with purchase.
