Wipe the solar panel clean whenever it dulls, because a dirty panel is the usual reason a solar light stops holding charge. Wipe the body with a soft, damp cloth and dry it afterwards. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

Each cap is designed to sit on a fence post or pillar, so check your post dimensions against the 5.75 inch width before ordering. It runs on a built in 2000mAh rechargeable battery charged by its own panel and switches on by itself at dusk, so there is no wiring and no electrician needed.
