It sits well beside a dark sofa where a brass or chrome lamp would jump out.

Made from metal with a black finish. Slight variation in finish between pieces is normal.
Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners on the painted finish. Switch the lamp off and unplug it before changing the bulb.
One floor lamp is included per order. It plugs into an ordinary outlet, so no wiring work is needed. Bulbs are not included, so buy one at the same time. It is a fixed accent lamp rather than an adjustable reading light. Decorative accessories and items shown in product photos are not included with purchase.
