Standing just over five feet with the head over the seat rather than behind it, this is built to read by rather than to fill a room with light. The metal frame in a plain industrial shape suits a room where the furniture is already doing the talking. At 19 lb it stays put on a rug without being anchored. White disappears against a pale wall while black reads as a deliberate line in the corner.

Made from metal with a painted finish, available in white or black. Slight variation in finish between pieces is normal.
Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners on the painted finish. Switch the lamp off and unplug it before cleaning or changing the bulb.
What ships depends on the set you select, a single lamp or a set of two, four, six or eight, in the finish you choose. Each lamp comes with its base and stem sections, which assemble without tools. It plugs into an ordinary outlet, so no wiring work is needed. Bulbs are not included, so buy one at the same time. Decorative accessories and items shown in product photos are not included with purchase.
