The choice between the stake and the flat base is the useful part: the stake pushes into a border, while the base bolts onto a step, a wall cap or a paved edge where a spike has nothing to bite into. A 4400mAh battery is large for a solar path light, and that capacity is what decides whether it is still lit at five in the morning. Three heights cover a low border through to a taller planted bed. It reads the light level itself and comes on at dusk without a timer to set.

Made from die cast aluminum with a black finish and a polycarbonate shade. Slight variation in finish between pieces is normal.
Wipe the solar panel clean whenever it dulls, because a dirty panel is the usual reason a solar light stops holding charge. Wipe the body with a soft, damp cloth and dry it afterwards. Do not use abrasive cleaners on the shade.
What ships depends on the set you select, a single light or a set of two, four, six or eight, in the height and mounting you choose. Read the mounting option carefully: the ground insert version comes with a stake for soft ground, while the base version bolts to a hard surface. It runs on a built in 4400mAh rechargeable battery charged by its own panel, senses dusk and switches on by itself, so there is no wiring and no timer to set. Site it where the panel gets several hours of direct sun. It is rated IP55 against rain. Decorative accessories and items shown in product photos are not included with purchase.
