Why This Is Special
This is built for uplighting a tree, which asks more of a fixture than lighting a path does: the beam has to carry twenty feet up and still look controlled. Four output levels let the same fitting suit a young birch or a mature oak rather than over lighting the small one. At just over a pound in the smaller size it can be repositioned as a tree grows without redoing the groundwork. Aluminum and glass rather than plastic is what keeps the beam clear after a few winters outdoors.
Two sizes are offered. The smaller measures 3.94 inches wide and 6.69 inches deep and weighs 1.32 lb. The larger measures 5.12 inches wide and 8.66 inches deep and weighs 2.20 lb.
Made from aluminum with a black finish and a glass lens. Slight variation in finish between pieces is normal.
Wipe the glass lens clean with a soft, damp cloth and dry it afterwards. Clear fallen leaves from around the head so it can shed heat. Do not use abrasive cleaners on the lens.
What ships depends on the set you select, a single light or a set of two, four, six, eight or ten, in the size and output you choose. Each light comes with its ground spike. The head tilts by hand so the beam can be aimed up into a tree and left there. The LED is built in, so no separate bulb is bought and none is replaced later. It is sealed to IP65 against dust and rain and should be fitted by an electrician with the power off at the breaker. Decorative accessories and items shown in product photos are not included with purchase.
