Why This Is Special
The wide disc top acts as both the solar panel and the shade, so all the light is pushed down onto the path and none of it is thrown at a window. Five heights is more choice than most ranges offer, which means one design can run from a low border to a tall bed without a visual break. The panel charges fully in about six hours, so a bright morning is enough to cover the night. PMMA holds its clarity outdoors far longer than ordinary acrylic, which is what stops the top yellowing after a season.
Five heights are offered, 23.6 inches, 26.8 inches, 31.5 inches, 34.6 inches and 42.5 inches. All measure 9.06 inches across. Weight ranges from 3.31 lb on the shortest to 6.17 lb on the taller posts.
Made from die cast aluminum with a black finish and a PMMA diffuser. Slight variation in finish between pieces is normal.
Wipe the disc top clean whenever it dulls, since it is both the panel and the shade and a dirty one stops the light holding charge. Wipe the body with a soft, damp cloth and dry it afterwards. Do not use abrasive cleaners on the diffuser.
What ships depends on the set you select, a single light or a set of two, four, six or eight, in the height and mounting you choose. Read the mounting option carefully: the ground insert version comes with a stake, while the base version bolts to a hard surface. It charges from the monocrystalline panel in the top, reaching a full charge in about six hours of good sun, and switches on by itself at dusk. It is rated IP55 against rain.
