Why This Is Special
Smoked glass does the one thing clear glass cannot, which is hide the bulb while still looking like glass. Switched off it reads as a dark cylinder rather than an empty shade with hardware showing through it. The scalloped metal edge is what keeps it from being a plain drum, and it picks up the finish of taps and handles already in a kitchen or dining room. Four sizes including an elongated version means it can sit over a round table or run along a rectangular one without a second fixture.

Made from a metal frame with a scalloped edge, in copper, nickel or black, holding a smoked glass shade. Because the glass is tinted, the depth of the smoke varies slightly from piece to piece and reads darker on the larger sizes.
Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth. Smoked glass shows streaks more than clear glass, so use a dry cloth rather than a damp one and finish in one direction. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners on the glass or the metal finish. Switch the power off at the breaker before cleaning, and let bulbs cool before touching them.
One chandelier is included in the size and finish you select, along with the ceiling plate, the suspension and the mounting hardware. Bulbs are not included. Because the glass is smoked, the bulb is barely visible, so shape matters less than warmth here: a warm white bulb keeps the copper and brass tones from going grey. It is hardwired to a ceiling point rather than plugged in, so turn the power off at the breaker before starting and have an electrician make the connection. Choose the shape by the table: the round sizes suit a round or square table, and the Long version is the one for a rectangular table. Set the drop so the lowest point sits about 30 to 36 inches above the tabletop. Decorative accessories and items shown in product photos are not included with purchase.
