Why This Is Special
A shallow body is the whole point here, because most recessed step lights need a deeper chase than a timber riser or a thin block wall can give. Two sizes let it suit a narrow tread or a wider one without looking lost. Aluminum with a tempered glass lens takes being stepped near and rained on for years. Warm white at 3000K reads as welcoming on a path to a front door rather than institutional.
Two sizes are offered. The smaller measures 5.12 inches wide and 4 inches high and weighs 1.10 lb. The larger measures 5.91 inches wide and 4 inches high and weighs 1.54 lb.
Made from aluminum with a black finish and a tempered glass lens. Slight variation in finish between pieces is normal.
Wipe the glass lens clean with a soft, damp cloth and dry it afterwards. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Keep the lens clear of grit and leaves.
What ships depends on the set you select, a single light or a set of two, four, six or eight, in the size you choose. Each light recesses into the wall or riser, so a recess must be formed, though the shallow body needs less depth than most recessed step lights. The LED is built in and gives warm white light at 3000K, so no separate bulb is bought and none is replaced later. It is hardwired, accepts a wide mains input, and should be fitted by an electrician with the power off at the breaker. It is sealed to IP65. Decorative accessories and items shown in product photos are not included with purchase.
