Why This Is Special
Cast from H65 brass rather than painted steel, this is meant to weather into a patina rather than chip and rust, which is why it suits a gate pier or a fence post that will never be repainted. Three sizes let it be matched to the post rather than perched on top looking wrong. The solar version needs no cable at all, which matters on a boundary wall far from the house, while the hardwired version gives steady output. Glass panels throw a lantern pattern rather than a flat glow.
Three sizes are offered, 9.8 by 9.8 by 11.8 inches, 11.8 by 11.8 by 13.8 inches and 15.7 by 15.7 by 17.7 inches. Weight ranges from 4.41 lb to 8.86 lb depending on size and power supply.
Made from H65 brass with a rust resistant treatment and glass panels. Brass develops a patina outdoors, and slight variation between pieces is normal.
Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal polish unless you want to remove the patina, which will return over time. Clean the glass panels with a barely damp cloth.
What ships depends on the set you select, from a single light up to a set of thirty, in the size and power supply you choose. Read the power supply option carefully: the solar version charges from its own panel and switches on at dusk with no wiring at all, while the hardwired version connects to mains power and should be fitted by an electrician with the power off at the breaker. It is designed to cap a fence post, gate pier or pillar, so check your post dimensions against the size selected. It is rated IP54 against rain.
