Why This Is Special
This shelf is built from aluminum rather than steel, which keeps it lightweight while still standing up to constant moisture in a shower. Its matte black finish reads as more modern than typical chrome bathroom hardware, fitting bathrooms with darker fixtures. Wall mounting in the corner clears the shower floor and tub ledge of loose bottles. The same design also suits a kitchen, holding sponges or cleaning bottles near the sink. Aluminum's natural resistance to corrosion means it will not develop the rust spots that steel can show over years of water exposure.
Includes one shelf with its mounting hardware, in the length and configuration selected above. Lengths are 9.1, 11.8, 15.7 and 19.7 inches, and the options add a front rail, a row of three or five hooks, both, or neither. Check which combination you have selected, since the rail and hooks cannot be added later.
It fixes to the wall with the supplied fittings; use wall anchors suited to tile, plasterboard or masonry, and drill into the tile face rather than the grout line so the fixing has something solid to grip. Mount it in a shower corner high enough to clear the tallest bottle you use. Aluminum does not rust, so it can stay in a wet shower permanently, and the same shelf works in a kitchen corner for sponges and bottles. The front rail stops bottles sliding off and the hooks take a razor, a loofah or a cloth. Wipe it with a damp cloth.
