Why This Is Special
This strip produces a running water flow effect, where the LEDs light in a moving chase pattern rather than a single static glow, giving stairs or a hallway edge a sense of motion. It runs on 24V and is triggered by a motion sensor, so it only lights when someone is actually walking through the space. The chasing pattern also makes the direction of travel more visually obvious in a dark stairwell than a plain lit strip would. It is aimed at both function and visual effect, since the moving light pattern reads as more of a design feature than a plain safety strip. It suits stairs, halls, or under cabinet runs where a dynamic lighting effect is wanted.

Includes the strip in the length selected above, either 16.4 or 32.8 feet, with its motion sensor and controller. It runs on 24V through the supplied driver rather than plugging straight into the wall. Choose white, warm white or natural white before ordering, since the color is fixed by the option.
Wipe the surface clean and dry, then peel the backing away a little at a time and press the strip down as you go, keeping the run straight. Mount the sensor where it can see the approach; it covers about 26.2 feet across a 120 degree arc. When it triggers, the light chases along the strip from one end to the other rather than switching on all at once, which is why it suits a staircase, a hallway, a closet or the underside of a bed frame where the movement itself shows you the way. Cut only on the marked points. Keep it indoors and out of standing water. Decorative accessories and items shown in product photos are not included with purchase.
