This solar lamp post stands 78 inches tall and lines a walkway, driveway, or garden path with steady light after dark. The pole is removable, so the fixture comes apart for easy installation and storage over winter. A dusk to dawn sensor turns the light on automatically as the sun goes down and switches it off at sunrise, with no wiring and no switches to remember. It charges through a small solar panel during the day and runs on stored power at night, which keeps outdoor electric costs at zero. The tall profile puts the light source above eye level so it lights the ground without glaring into windows or a neighbor's yard. It solves the common problem of a dark front path by giving it a dedicated fixture instead of relying on a porch light that barely reaches the sidewalk.

Assembled it stands 110.24 inches tall, built from 39.17 inch pole sections 2.95 inches across plus a 5.91 inch section. The head measures 16.54 inches across and the base measures 17.3 inches. A solar panel and rechargeable battery are built in, so there is no wiring and no batteries to buy.
The pole sections screw together by hand, so no tools are needed for the pole itself. It can stand on the weighted base or be fixed down; on an exposed site, anchor or weight the base, since a lamp over nine feet tall catches wind. Site it where the head gets several hours of direct sun and clear of tree cover. Charge it in full sun for a full day before the first evening. It switches on at dusk and off at dawn on its own. Wipe the panel clean every few months, as dust costs more charge than cloud does. Decorative accessories and items shown in product photos are not included with purchase.
