It measures 16 inches long and 5.9 inches deep and holds up to 22 pounds, so weigh what is going on it rather than guessing, since a row of hardbacks passes that quickly. It is solid wood, and the grain varies from piece to piece. Nothing is powered. Fix it into a stud where possible, since a loaded shelf pulls hard on a plasterboard fixing, or use plugs rated for the wall and the weight, and check it is level before the second fixing goes in. Spread the load along the shelf rather than stacking it at one end. It suits novels, a small plant or framed photos at a height where they stay in reach. Wipe it with a dry cloth and keep it away from damp. Books, decorative accessories and items shown in product photos are not included with purchase.
