Why This Is Special
This shelf is built from stainless steel with a brushed finish, made specifically for a shower corner where humidity and constant water contact would ruin a wood or painted metal shelf over time. It mounts with bolt inserting hardware into the corner, using space that is otherwise wasted in most shower stalls. The corner placement keeps bottles of shampoo and soap off the shower floor and away from the edge of the tub, which is where they are most likely to get knocked over. Because stainless steel does not rust or corrode, this shelf is built to stay in a wet shower environment permanently rather than needing to be replaced every year or two like a plastic caddy.
One corner shelf is included in the finish and length you select, chrome or brushed, at 7.9 inches, 11.8 inches, 15.7 inches or 19.7 inches. It is 304 stainless steel, which holds up to constant water and humidity where a wood or painted metal shelf would not. It mounts into the corner with the bolt fixings supplied and is not powered. Measure the corner and pick the length before ordering, since a shelf that is too long will not seat properly against both walls. Drill into the grout line rather than the middle of a tile where you can, and let any sealant set before loading it. In place it takes shampoo, conditioner and soap off the shower floor and out of the tub edge, using the corner that is otherwise wasted. Rinse and wipe it so water spots do not build up.
