One shelf is included in the finish, length and version you select, in black or white, at 11.8, 15.7, 19.7 or 23.6 inches, and with or without a towel bar underneath, so read the option carefully because all three are set together. It is an aluminum frame with a wood facing panel, which is what lets it live with bathroom steam rather than rusting or swelling the way a plain wood shelf does. Nothing is powered. It mounts flat to the wall with the brackets hidden behind it, so mark the fixings level, fix into something solid, and keep the load to shampoo bottles, jars and folded towels. Measure the wall first, since the longest version is nearly two feet. The bar version gives a hand towel somewhere to hang without a second fitting. Wipe it dry after a shower.
