Why This Is Special
This basket is hand woven from bamboo and lined with a breathable plastic layer, which lets it hold fresh or artificial flower arrangements without the material breaking down from water contact over time. The built in handle makes it easy to carry as a gift basket or move it around the house, rather than being a fixed decor piece that has to stay in one spot. Because the weave is done by hand, there is natural variation in color and shape between individual baskets, which is expected with rattan and bamboo rather than a flaw. It works equally well as a flower basket, a gift basket, or general storage on a shelf or table, giving it more use than a single purpose vase would.
One basket is included in the shape you select, oval or round. It measures 5.11 inches long, 3.94 inches wide and 2.36 inches deep, and stands 5.51 inches tall including the handle. It is hand woven and lined with a plastic layer.
That lining is what lets it hold a fresh arrangement as well as an artificial one, since water is not sitting directly against the weave. Even so, use a small container inside for anything that needs standing water rather than pouring water into the basket itself. The handle means it works as a gift basket or moves around the house rather than staying in one spot. Because the weave is done by hand, no two are identical.
