A single pendant over a long table is a compromise, and most people just accept the dim ends. This bar spreads several tilting spots along its length so the light actually follows the table instead of pooling in the middle. Because you pick the head count, a small breakfast bar and a long dining table can use the same fixture family without one of them looking wrong. The spots aim independently, which also makes it usable over a kitchen run where you want light on the work surface and not in your eyes.

One bar fixture is included with the number of spotlight heads you select, along with its mounting plate and canopy. It measures 23.6 inches long and 6.3 inches tall, with an 11.8 inch spotlight bar, in painted aluminum and metal with gold toned accents in a white gold or black gold finish. The light source is integrated, so there is no bulb to fit or replace. The spotlights sit along the bar and tilt, so light can be aimed where people actually sit rather than flooding the whole ceiling, which is the reason to choose this over a single central fixture above a long table or an island. It wires into a ceiling point rather than plugging in, so turn the power off at the breaker before starting and have an electrician run a supply to the spot if there is nothing there already.
