One ceiling light is included in the style you select. The straight edge version measures 6.7 inches wide and 6.3 inches tall, and the beveled edge version measures 6.3 inches wide and 6.3 inches tall. The round ceiling plate on both versions is 3.9 inches across.
This is a wired fixture rather than a lamp that plugs in, so it connects to the household wiring in the ceiling. Switch off the breaker before you start and check there is a junction box at the spot you have picked; if there is no wiring there, an electrician will need to run it first. At this size it works for a hallway, an entry, a stair landing or a closet rather than as the main light in a large room. Dust the glass with a dry cloth.
