It is 4.33 inches across and 14.96 inches high, built from aluminum and ABS with an acrylic diffuser, and slight color variation between screens and the finish in person is normal. It charges over USB, so the cable needs a USB port or a wall adaptor you already have. A touch strip runs down the front, so brush it once for a low glow and hold it to bring the light up, and the dimming is stepless rather than fixed levels, which means it can be set exactly where you want it. Stand it upright on a nightstand, a desk or a shelf. Charge it fully before the first use. Wipe it with a soft dry cloth.
